How ZenDevy collects, uses, and protects your information.
Information We Collect
ZenDevy collects only the minimum information necessary to operate the service.
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — Page views, events (scroll, click), and approximate geographic data. No personally identifiable information is collected. IP anonymization is enabled by default.
- Giscus Comments — Authentication via GitHub OAuth. ZenDevy only displays your GitHub profile information (username, avatar) and does not store it separately.
- Google AdSense — Will be activated upon re-approval. AdSense may use cookies for ad personalization.
Cookies
- Theme preference — Light/dark mode selection stored in
localStorage. Not sent to any server. - GA4 cookies —
_ga,_ga_*cookies are used. Google's Privacy Policy applies. - AdSense cookies — When activated, additional cookies for ad personalization may be set.
GDPR and Privacy Protection
EU/EEA visitors may opt out of GA4 and AdSense cookie collection. When the cookie consent banner is enabled, no tracking cookies will be set without explicit consent.
Data Retention
GA4 data follows Google's default retention period (14 months). ZenDevy does not separately store personal data on its own servers.
